Be prepared to Love Yourself

"Love is the most powerful healing force of all"

Real healing love comes from within...  Loving the self brings about healing on all levels and in all things. When you love yourself you do not hurt yourself and you will not hurt others. You cannot truly love another if you do not love yourself

Just be willing

"have an open mind and an open heart"

Just be willing to try some of these things. Even if you cannot accept yourself exactly as you are right now, you can still tell yourself you are willing to try and that will enable your subconscious to grow. Bless

Who Is Raul Medina Jr.? Your Life Coach

In February 1990, founder Raul Medina Jr, (A.K.A. DJ RAW), realized that there was a lack of positive representation within Miami-Dade community. He partnered with K.O.P. Management to form a committee that would objectively represent and strengthen the community using the power of music. This resulted in the first Hoodstock Music Fest which was held at the Roberto Clemente Park in Wynwood in October of 1994. Peace in the Hood was the message, and the concert was successful in bringing together almost 2,000 local residents, media personnel, and community leaders. The last Hoodstock event, which took place in 1996, was a huge success and the concert/seminar was well attended with over 10,000 people from around the world gathered to show support. Patrons from past events will tell you that Hoodstock was the best thing to happen for the hip-hop culture in the Miami-Dade area. It will always be remembered by many people; the youth, government officials and up and coming artists. Medina wants to finish what he started, so he intends to recreate a better version of Hoodstock. This is a promise that he has made to the youth of South Florida with the intention to provide information and opportunities that will help them navigate through this maze that we call life. Now it has been recreated to be Path to Creativity, organized by YourTalkBizRadio.

Path to Creativity promises to be bigger and better than Hoodstock. With the new name comes the aspiration to inspire thousands of young people. The goal is to accomplish this by collaborating with YourTalkBizRadio to educate as well as entertain the young people of South Florida. This will be done by using the Path to Creativity experience to redirect the minds of young people and provide them with a healthier and more prosperous outlook on life. In addition, YourTalkBizRadio will help to improve the everyday interactions between today’s youth and adults within the community. This new found platform will create a ripple effect that will counteract the negative perceptions that global communities have about Hip-Hop music and culture.

YourTalkBizRadio exists as a private organization focused on helping our young adults realize their goals. The organization does not receive financial or any kind of support from South Florida, where there is a scarcity of music and arts service organizations.YourTalkBizRadio seeks to establish a facilitator/catalyst role instead of a programming role.

Between 1997 and 2007, Medina received seven certifications from the Florida Department of Health in 104 HIV prevention training. Medina used his knowledge to structure an HIV program for the Florida Department of Corrections which is currently still in operation. He has committed himself to disseminating positive information even today. His message is simple and focuses on the fact that there are alternative avenues available for personal development, educational and economic growth rather than relying on the false success offered by street life characterized by crime, violence, drug dealing, and sexual promiscuity. Medina’s bottom line and most important message is that crime does not pay!
